Health Care Cost, Quality, and Transparency

The 15th Annual Symposium of the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy was on Health Care Cost, Quality, and Transparency. The symposium was comprised of four panels featuring subject matter experts on such topics as “Health Care Transparency: Price and Quality,” “Regulating Health Care: Licensing v. Medical Malpractice,” “Why do Drugs Cost so Much and What (If Anything) Should We Do About It,” and “The Affordable Care Act and the Future of Health Care Reform.”
The Symposium also featured a lunch keynote from United States Senator, the Honorable William Cassidy (R-Louisiana).
